Why does a title lose track information when it is transferred to an MP3 player or burned to CD?

Unfortunately, Media Markers, the method used to separate the part into smaller tracks within OverDrive Media Console, do not carry over when burned to CD or transferred to an MP3 player.  In these situations, the title will appear as one large file instead of separate parts.
